Pinball Machine Auctions
There are a couple of ways that you can buy at pinball machine auctions: physical auctions and online auctions. There are some advantages and disadvantages to each.
There are some physical auction companies that frequently have pinball machine auctions. One of these is Super Auctions. A company called US Amusement Auction used to conduct auctions, but no longer does, although it seems that they still have a few parts available for sale online. I'm sure that there are others. The advantages of physical auctions include the fact that you may be able to locate some hard to find machines, and you do not have to pay shipping for delivery of the machines. The disadvantages are the distance for you to travel to the auction, the fact that sales tax may be applicable and the uncertainty of finding a machine that interests you.
Online auctions, such as Ebay, provide a place for pinball machine sellers around the world to sell their machines in one place. The advantages of an online auction are that you can find a wide variety of machines, both common and rare without having the expense of travel or the difficulty of finding physical auctions, and often sales taxes are not collected, particularly if the seller is in a different state. Prices may also be lower since the seller does not have the expense of physical auctions such as travel or perhaps higher commissions to the auction company. The disadvantages are that there are shipping charges for the machine and you do not physically see the machine before buying.
Below are a few of the pinball machines that are currently available for auction on Ebay for your consideration.
